Brief

Participate in a design update of Mint Android app.

What I did

I participated in a joint design and engineering effort to bring Mint’s long-neglected Android app visually on par with our other platforms. A visual designer had produced the comps, which I adjusted with engineers to match the best practices of the platform, produced some original assets, brought the design to code level by producing assets and editing the layout code, and iterating and testing until the outcome was great.

Outcome

The product and engineering team was delighted to get design attention and modernize the app. We got some good reviews from users after publishing the update.
