Q: This dialog appears when you click “Close” in an IE8 window that has more than one tab open. When you click either button, the window is closed. What’s wrong here?
A: CANCEL is missing. The close button in top right actually functions as cancel, but there’s little feedforward for it. You don’t know until you try. There should be an explicit Cancel button.

A glitch in the SMS design. Just by looking at this, can you tell who is it from? Should include sender info. (It’s from mint.com.)

Many OS X DMG installers have some “landing page” where you open the disk image and they have some nice background image and some other icons that you can interact with, to drag into Applications folder etc. And these layouts completely break when you have people like me who have the advanced “Show hidden files in Finder” option turned on, which magically starts showing other (hidden) folders that completely break the layout.

What are carrier settings? Is my iPhone an aircraft carrier? And why would I want this update? What happens if I do/don’t install?

An extremely unhelpful error. Appeared in an application when I tried to paste a group of items. Which items are those that won’t be pasted? And why? Should I fix it somehow?
